Dinosaur World - Part 2 family day out

Dinosaur World is also in Glen Rose, so we stopped by on the way home from Fossil Rim. Jedd would have been a very scary dinosaur.

Although some artistic license was taken for this exhibit (were dinosaurs REALLY purple and orange?), I loved the perspective it put on how dinosaurs might have looked in the wild. Pretty cool. At the end of the trail is the fossil dig for the kids - which they loved. Skip the museum at the end. The biggest hit was the trash cans that looked like a baby dinosaur hatching. You never know what will tickle a 4 year old's fancy. "Look Jackson, there's a T-REX!!" "Just a minute mommy, I'm looking at another trash can!"

"I'm tired!" Time to drive home!
