Fossil Rim

After Christmas and New Years in Texas, I was feeling homebound and itching for someplace to GO. I talked the family into driving 2 hours to Glen Rose, TX. It was WELL worth the drive.

Fossil Rim was fabulous. You drive around a 9 mile loop, up and down big hills, and have animals walking right up to your car window to eat. The kids absolutely loved it!

Jackson was very clear about how close the biting zebras could come and had his trigger finger on the window button the whole time. The ostriches WERE pretty big and scary up that close.

I'm not sure which Madeline liked more - riding unleashed on my lap in the front seat, or feeding all the "reindeer".
